Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov 'open' to Serie A return

Aleksandar Kolarov reveals that he could leave Manchester City to return to Serie A.

Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov has admitted that he would "like to return" to Italy in the future.

The 29-year-old, who joined City from Lazio in 2010, has made just 11 Premier League starts this season and is reportedly one of the players who could be sold in a City revamp this summer.

When asked if he would consider moving back to Serie A, Kolarov told Sky Italia: "I'd like to return to Italy, but it's difficult."

The Serbian international is under contract with City until 2017 having signed a new deal with the Premier League champions last summer.
