Boavista defender Jackson Porozo has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester City.
Ahead of the summer window, Man City are said to be in the process of identifying potential alternatives in midfield and attack respectively.
As well as the Premier League leaders said to be keen on Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland, Pep Guardiola is aware that he may also have to replace veteran midfielder Fernandinho.
However, according to O Jogo, City may also add a fresh face to their backline having taken an interest in Ecuador international Porozo.
The 21-year-old, formerly of Brazilian giants Santos, has made 34 appearances for Boavista in all competitions, including 18 league starts during the current campaign.
With the report indicating that 'City Group' possesses the interest, a scenario could emerge where Porozo initially links up with one of City's sister clubs.
