Manchester City are reportedly eyeing Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal as a potential replacement for Leroy Sane.
Sane has been linked with a return to Germany as Bayern Munich show keen interest, meaning that Pep Guardiola would need to dip into the market for a new wide attacker.
Sociedad winger Oyarzabal appears to have been earmarked as the perfect replacement, with a release clause of €80m (£69.1m) that City could trigger with the funds that would be generated by Sane's sale, according to Sky Deutschland.
The Spaniard has hit four goals and registered three assists in 10 La Liga appearances so far this season, helping his side to fourth in the table.
At just 22 years old, Oyarzabal would represent a long-term investment and could be given time to bed in behind Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.
