Manchester City are understood to be planning a summer swoop for Real Madrid and France striker Karim Benzema.
The 24-year-old scored 32 goals in all competitions last season as Madrid clinched their first La Liga title in four years.
Premier League champions City are now thought to be interested in the forward's services, according to Sky Sports News.
Benzema, who moved to the Spanish capital from Lyon in 2009, recently claimed that Manchester United had been trying to sign him for the past four years.
