Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has emerged as a reported transfer target for Manchester City.
According to The Mirror, Roberto Mancini sees the 24-year-old as the ideal partner for Yaya Toure in the Citizens' midfield and is desperate to bring him to the Premier League.
Reports have suggested that Chelsea and Manchester United have both failed in attempts to land the Spanish international, who is unlikely to want to leave the Nou Camp.
Busquets, who has 50 caps for his country, came through the youth ranks with the Catalan giants before making his debut in 2008.
