Manchester City tracking Charlton Athletic youngster Jeremy Sarmiento?

Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Charlton Athletic youngster Jeremy Sarmiento.

Charlton Athletic youngster Jeremy Sarmiento has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester City.

Sarmiento is only 15 years of age but the attacker has already been called up to represent the club's Under-23 side.

According to The Sun, the Addicks want to keep hold of the teenager and are prepared to offer him a five-year contract in a bid to fend off interest from bigger clubs.

However, City are allegedly prepared to spend in the region of £6m in order to secure the signing of the England Under-16 international.

Any fee would be decided by a Football League tribunal, as it was when Ethan Ampadu left Exeter City for Chelsea when he was 16 years old.
