Manchester City are reportedly open to signing Barcelona defender Sergino Dest in part-exchange for Ferran Torres.
Over the past week, it has been claimed that Torres is a top target for the Catalan giants, regardless of their ongoing financial situation.
Reports have suggested that Man City have a number of players who they would be willing to sign in a swap proposal, the most realistic seemingly being Dest.
According to El Nacional, Pep Guardiola is willing to allow Torres to depart for Camp Nou if Dest is allowed to move in the opposite direction.
The report adds that Barcelona would still need to shell out a fee, something which may not be able to happen until the end of the season.
Despite holding a desire to return to Spain, Torres is less than halfway through a five-year contract at City, leaving his club in a strong position to demand their asking price.
