AC Milan's attempts to sign Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov have reportedly hit a major snag.
It had been reported that the Italian club were keen to sign the 26-year-old on loan, but according to Goal.com, City will not let the Serbian leave unless a transfer fee is received.
It is understood that Milan want to sign at least one more defender this summer as they ready their assault on Serie A next season.
Kolarov joined City from Lazio in 2010.
