Riyad Mahrez will reportedly complete his drawn-out switch from Leicester City to Premier League champions Manchester City by the end of the week.
The Citizens are said to have had a £60m offer accepted for the Algerian winger, whom they were keen to bring in during the January transfer window.
Leicester had been holding out for £80m but, according to Sky Sports News, terms have now been agreed on a substantially smaller fee, bringing an end to the long-running saga.
Mahrez will undergo a medical in the next few days, it is claimed, before putting pen to paper on a long-term deal at the Etihad Stadium.
The 2015-16 PFA Players' Player of the Year was not due to return to pre-season training with Leicester for another fortnight.
