Manchester City are close to completing the purchase of Fulham youngster Patrick Roberts after the midfielder was pictured arriving for a medical.
Roberts would be the third English signing for City this summer, the club having captured Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph earlier this week.
City and Fulham have agreed a fee of £2m, rising to £8m with add-ons, according to Sky Sports News, with Roberts having just one year left on his contract at Craven Cottage.
The 18-year-old is expected to spend the season with City's Elite Development Squad, who play in the Under-21 Premier League.
