Swansea City consider reunion with Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony?

Swansea City are reportedly considering whether to launch a bid for Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony, who has previously represented the Welsh club.

Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony has reportedly emerged as a potential option for former club Swansea City.

Bony has recently expressed a desire to prove himself at the Etihad Stadium but as it stands, he does not feature in Pep Guardiola's plans for the new season.

The Ivorian endured a frustrating spell on loan at Stoke City during the last campaign, but it appears that he still remains valued at his previous club.

According to Wales Online, Swansea boss Paul Clement may consider a move for Bony should Fernando Llorente leave the club before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Welsh outfit remain eager to keep hold of last season's top goalscorer, but Bony represents a strong backup option and he would likely jump at the opportunity to return to the Liberty Stadium.

Between July 2013 and January 2015, Bony scored 34 goals in 70 appearances for Swansea in all competitions.
