Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has admitted that he is concerned about John Stones playing for England at the World Cup.
The Manchester City defender has had his critics during his time at the Etihad Stadium, and that has extended onto the international stage.
During England's 1-1 draw with Italy in Tuesday night's international friendly at Wembley, Stones was accused of spending too much time on the ball and almost giving away a goal.
While speaking to Jim White on talkSPORT, Cascarino said: "He worries me, Jim. If you play three at the back, you're obligated to play football. You have to get on the ball and move it around. Too many times he makes that individual error where he's slipping or getting caught on the ball, just over-elborating.
"No I don't get last night when you watch the game and where everyone is saying: 'Oh he made the mistakes but he got over them'. You could be 2-0 down, Jim, you can't do that."
Stones has earned 24 caps for his country.
