Manchester United manager David Moyes is optimistic of Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley's being fit for their Champions League clash with Real Sociedad on Wednesday.
Cleverley has been sidelined since prior to the international break with a calf strain, while Welbeck picked up a knock in the 1-1 draw with Southampton on Saturday.
Both players missed Tuesday's training session, but Moyes is hopeful that they will have recovered in time for the visit of the La Liga outfit to Old Trafford, while also revealing promising news about Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand's injury statuses.
"We've got one or two knocks and niggles which most teams will have at this time of the year," Moyes told reporters. "Vidic and Rio are making good progress.
"Danny Welbeck had a bit of an injury from the game so we'll have to check on him. Tom Cleverley isn't as bad as we thought. They both have a chance."
Both Cleverley and Welbeck have started each of Manchester United's opening two Group A fixtures.
