Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has called on his players to rise to the challenge of securing their place in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
The Red Devils face Wolfsburg in their final Group B game, knowing that a defeat could eliminate them from the competition as PSV Eindhoven face bottom-of-the-table CSKA Moscow in the other match in the group.
Van Gaal has insisted that his side have to show their quality to beat the German outfit to advance to the next round of the Champions League as group winners.
"It's very important for the club to continue in the Champions League also for the players because they want to show their qualities at the highest podium," Van Gaal told reporters.
"You have to prove yourselves, as a club, as a team and as players. We can't rely on the result of the other game."
United face Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena on Tuesday.
