Everton teenager Tom Davies was invited to take part in England's senior training session this morning to make up the numbers as three senior members sat out.
Captain Wayne Rooney, Jonjo Shelvey and Danny Ings all missed the group session at England's headquarters, St George's Park.
It was the second time in a row that Rooney has missed training and he is thought to be a doubt for the home match against Estonia because of ankle injury sustained in Manchester United's 3-0 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday.
England manager Roy Hodgson invited Davies, who is in Staffordshire with the Under-17s, to join in. The midfielder recently signed his first professional contract at Everton.
England have won all eight Euro 2016 qualifiers so far and welcome Estonia on Friday before finishing the campaign away in Lithuania on Monday.
