Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay will reportedly miss meetings with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City next month following initial scans on an ankle injury.
The Scotland international, who made his debut for United in May 2017, has been a fundamental part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this season, featuring in all 12 of the club's Premier League games since August.
In the closing stages of United's 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, McTominay went down with what looked like a nasty ankle problem.
According to The Mirror, initial scans reveal that McTominay could be out of action for around four weeks.
Should this timescale be accurate, the 22-year-old will miss meetings with Spurs and City on December 2 and 7 respectively, along with games against Sheffield United, Astana and Aston Villa.
Paul Pogba, another United midfielder battling with injury, is expected to return to action soon after the November international break.
