Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could reportedly return to first-team training before the end of this month.

Following the conclusion of Euro 2020, the 23-year-old underwent successful surgery to resolve his longstanding shoulder injury on August 6, and he was expected to miss the opening two months of the new season.

However, The Sun reports that Rashford is set return to United's Aon Training Complex weeks ahead of schedule and may begin light training within the next 10 days.

The report also states that the England international continues to use a brace, though the club are 'delighted' that he has seemingly recovered so quickly.

Rashford had an impressive campaign in front of goal last season, scoring 21 times and providing 15 assists in 57 club appearances across all competitions.

It is hoped that the forward could be available for selection by the end of September, a period where the Red Devils are set to travel to West Ham United in the Premier League on September 19, before facing Aston Villa at Old Trafford six days later.
