Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that his team are fully prepared to face rivals Manchester City.
The Scot has seen his team's eight-point cushion eaten away in recent weeks, which has allowed the Citizens a second bite at the Premier League crown.
The potential title decider takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night, with Roberto Mancini's men now trailing the Red Devils by just three points.
Ferguson admitted that he rarely looks forward to the Manchester derby but vowed that he is up for the fight.
"I do not know if you thrive on it," said Ferguson. "I can't even say I can look forward to it. But I am up for it, I am prepared for it and I think my players will be prepared for it. So, hopefully, we will be okay."
Man Utd are chasing their 20th Premier League title.
