Ryan Giggs decides to leave Manchester United?

Ryan Giggs reportedly decides to end his 29-year stay with Manchester United after turning down a reduced coaching role at Old Trafford.

Ryan Giggs has reportedly rejected the opportunity to remain at Manchester United.

Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, there have been conflicting reports regarding the future of the Welshman, who served as assistant to Louis van Gaal before the Dutchman left Old Trafford at the end of last season.

It had been claimed that the 42-year-old was offered a reduced coaching role at the club but according to BBC Sport, Giggs has made the decision to end his 29-year association with the Premier League outfit.

Giggs had a year remaining on his contract but it is said that the former winger and United have reached a settlement to release him from his deal.

United are yet to comment on Giggs's future but it is claimed that an official statement will be released in the next few days.
