Ander Herrera has claimed that his Manchester United teammate David de Gea has every chance of becoming "the best goalkeeper in the world".
The Spanish stopper has risen to prominence as the Red Devils number one following his arrival at Old Trafford in 2011, and Herrera believes that his fellow countryman can take his game on to yet another level.
"He has been fantastic and is one of the best players in the world at 24 years old," Herrera told the club's official website.
"He wants to help the team get to the top of the league, like me, like everyone.
"We feel he can become one of the best if not the best goalkeeper in the world."
De Gea has started all 13 of United's Premier League games so far this season.
