Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has played down suggestions of dressing room unhappiness at Old Trafford, claiming that Jose Mourinho is a "very straight" and honest coach.
The Red Devils have endured a tough season so far, sitting sixth in the Premier League table amid reports of conflict between the manager and the players.
Herrera, however, told reporters in Spain: "If a coach is not straight, players soon find him out. Jose Mourinho is very straight.
"He says what he thinks and he says it to your face. He says it when it is something we will like, but he also says it when it is something we won't like.
"The team is enjoying the day to day. He really understands what a footballer needs, which is 20 minutes of team talk and then you get down to it."
The 27-year-old could make his Spain debut against England on Tuesday.
