Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has been called up to the Argentina squad.

Despite the fact the 17-year-old has never played a minute for the Red Devils first time, Lionel Scaloni has brought him in as one of 44 players ahead of their next World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

However, Garnacho has been getting opportunities in the FA Youth Cup, where he has scored four goals in as many games, and he has also created three assists within that competition.

The forward had joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid back in 2020, and he has been able to feature for Spain at the Under-20s level before.

Argentina will play Venezuela and Ecuador in the next round of fixtures, taking place on the 25th and 30th of March.
