Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash following his side's 1-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Bruno Fernandes netted the only goal of the match as Turf Moor, as Erik ten Hag's team brought a three-game losing run in all competitions to an end with an important win.

After the clash with Burnley, Rashford and his teammates headed back to Man United's training complex on a coach, before the players collected their own vehicles.

According to The Sun, the England international had only just left Carrington before being involved in a crash while driving his Rolls-Royce.

The report claims that Rashford was 'shaken-up' after the incident but he did not suffer any injuries, with the forward later taking to social media to insist that he was "alright".

Rashford played the full 90 minutes against Burnley, but he could be rested for Tuesday's EFL Cup third-round clash with Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

The Englishman has found it difficult to show his best form early this season, only managing one goal and two assists in six appearances in all competitions.

"It's about winning. And I just thought in the last week there was a lot against us. But you have to turn that and it's only up to us. And we knew that and we said that to the team. The team acknowledged it and we have seen the answer on the pitch," Ten Hag told TNT Sports following the win over Burnley.

"It was a brilliant goal (Fernandes goal) and was really lovely play, but I know in other games like Munich, Arsenal, we played very good spells in the game too.

"But then we gave easy goals away. And as I said, there was a lot against us, like tonight again, like a disallowed goal. And I will not say that was a goal or not a goal or that it was not fair, but it was against us.

"And we have seen so many things in the last couple of weeks against us and then all the injuries, we have to deal with it. And so that has to be the first step up."

Ten Hag also hailed his goalkeeper Andre Onana, who has been criticised for his form early this season.

"He really showed personality. He was really calm and composed. He did everything right in and out of possession and leads his back line. I thought it was a very good performance," the Dutchman added.

Man United will now take on Palace twice in quick succession, hosting the Eagles in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening before facing the same opponents in the same stadium in the league next weekend.
