Anthony Martial has refuted suggestions that Cristiano Ronaldo has been disruptive at Manchester United.
Ronaldo, 37, has endured a mixed return to Old Trafford since arriving from Juventus last summer, but he has managed to scored 18 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions this season.
Despite previous reports claiming that Ronaldo's arrival has caused tensions in the dressing room, Martial – who is currently on loan at Sevilla – believes that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is a "top professional" and his presence has not upset the apple cart.
"Cristiano is a top professional, one of the best in the history of the game. We all love him," Martial told the Daily Mail.
"There are things that are said in the media that are not true. I was in that dressing room and I know what happened."
Ronaldo, who is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2023, became the highest goalscorer of all time when he scored a hat-trick in United's 3-2 Premier League victory against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
