Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford are being given private training sessions by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to improve their all-round games, according to a report.

Manchester United strikers Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford are reportedly being given private training sessions by interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 45-year-old, brought in on a six-month deal following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December, was a prolific goalscorer during his playing career at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer has already got the best out of Rashford, with the young striker scoring six times in 11 matches under the Norwegian, while Lukaku has chipped in with three goals and a couple of assists during the same period, mainly from the bench.

According to Metro, Solskjaer pinpointed slight changes he wanted both players to make on the back of the Mourinho era.

Rashford and Lukaku have been asked to stay behind after training, which is largely conducted by coaches Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna, so that Solskjaer can improve the duo's all-round game, including the ability to push high up the pitch.

Each session is said to have lasted up to 20 minutes, with the stand-in boss particularly keen to get both men used to quickly turning over possession to bring others into play.
