Micah Richards claims that Manchester United are still favourites to win the Premier League title.

Manchester City defender Micah Richards has claimed that local rivals Manchester United are favourites for the Premier League title.

The Blues are currently top of the table, two points ahead of the Red Devils.

However, City could be second when they take to the field against Arsenal tomorrow if United win their early kickoff at Queens Park Rangers.

"In my opinion, United are still favourites. They've been there and done it," Ricards told the Daily Mail. "Just because we were clear for so long does not mean we're going to walk the title. In my mind there is no pressure on us because teams like United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been doing it for so long.

"United were favourites at the start of the season and regardless of how we've played, they are still firm favourites."

Richards was involved in a training ground bust-up with teammate Mario Balotelli earlier this week.
