Joe Riley has described his senior debut for Manchester United as a "dream come true".
The youngster came off the substitutes' bench in Monday night's 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Riley was an unused substitute for Thursday's 2-1 defeat to FC Midtjylland in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie in Denmark.
"I'm very, very happy as this is something I have always dreamed of," Riley told MUTV. "Standing on the touchline waiting to come on, wearing the shirt with your name on the back, is something that every lad coming through the system is proud to do and it was the same for me - it's a dream come true.
"[The past week] has been a great experience for me - out of this world. I'm learning so much from the players who are all top lads."
Riley has played as a midfielder and a left-back during his time at United.
