Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is looking forward to facing Louis van Gaal and Manchester United in the final of the International Champions Cup.
The two Premier League giants will renew hostilities earlier than expected this season, after both won their respective groups to set up a showdown in Miami on Tuesday morning.
Van Gaal has adopted the 3-5-2 formation that he used to guide the Netherlands to a third-place finish at the World Cup, and Rodgers is keen to see how the system stands up against his team.
"I think the sponsors will be delighted because you have got two of the biggest clubs in the world coming to Miami and it should be a great final," he told Liverpool's official website.
"They are obviously playing a different system with a new manager and we are team that is continually developing so we are looking forward to that."
The encounter is scheduled to get underway at 1am on Tuesday.
The Reds concluded their Group B campaign by easing to a 2-0 win over AC Milan in North Carolina last night.
