Luke Shaw: 'Manchester United must start sharply against Watford'

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw insists that his side must start sharply when they make their trip to face Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Sunday.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has called on his teammates to produce a sharper start when they face Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho's men started the new campaign in strong form by claiming three wins from three, but poor performances against both Manchester City and Feyenoord mean that should United lose to the Hornets this weekend, the club will have lost three straight games on the bounce.

"We need to start the game sharp," Shaw told the club's official television channel.

"The last two games we've played, we haven't made the best of starts especially in the first half, and we need to change that.

"We need to focus on ourselves and how we start We need to get off to a quick start and hopefully get an early goal that would settle us."

The Red Devils currently hold fifth spot in the league standings after four games played.
