Kevin Sheedy critical of David Moyes

Everton youth coach Kevin Sheedy criticises David Moyes for not showing enough interest in the youth team during his spell as the Blues boss.

Everton academy coach Kevin Sheedy has hit out at Manchester United boss David Moyes for a perceived lack of interest in the youth team during their time at Goodison Park together.

Moyes spent 11 years on Merseyside before departing for Old Trafford last summer, and Sheedy claimed that the Scot was apathetic towards the development of his youngsters during his spell in charge.

Sheedy tweeted: "All of you [Everton fans] out there Moyes was never interested in our youth team or players.

"In my seven years Moyes showed no interest in our youth team."

Sheedy later removed the tweets at the request of Everton.
