Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has said that he is not worried about the amount of competition for places in attack in the team.
Robin van Persie's arrival at Old Trafford from Arsenal last month means that Welbeck has to compete against him, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez for a place in the starting lineup.
"It is a really healthy competition," Welbeck is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"We have a wide variety of strikers to choose from and that creates a good selection problem for the manager. It will have a good effect on the team."
Welbeck, 21, scored 14 goals for United last season and cemented his place in the England national team.
