Ashley Young: "Wigan Athletic is a tough place to go"

Ashley Young is not expecting an easy time from Manchester United's trip to Wigan Athletic this evening.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young is not expecting an easy match from tonight's trip to Wigan Athletic.

The Reds travel to the DW Stadium having never lost to their hosts in the Premier League era.

Despite their unbeaten string of results, Young has warned his teammates to be on their toes against struggling Wigan.

"Wigan is a tough place to go to," he told the club's official website. "They're desperate for points and will want to win in front of their own fans.

"We've got to be on our toes and be ready for a tough game. I'm sure if we can show the confidence, desire and winning mentality we've shown throughout the season, we'll get the win."

Young joined United last summer from Aston Villa.
