Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong said that he is already "at the biggest club in the world" when questioned on a possible move to Manchester United this summer.
The Netherlands international continues to be heavily linked with the 20-time English champions, who have allegedly identified him as a leading target in the current market.
Barcelona are open to a sale due to their financial problems, but De Jong has again expressed a desire to remain with Xavi's side ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
"You are always flattered when teams show interest in you as a player," De Jong told reporters. "But I think I am at the biggest club in the world at the moment and feel fine there so there is no news."
De Jong also recently branded Barcelona his "dream club", suggesting that he wants to stay with the Catalan giants despite interest from Erik ten Hag's side.

Barcelona will reportedly have to hold off competition from Paris Saint-Germain if they want to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski during this summer's transfer window.
The 33-year-old has expressed a desire to leave Allianz Arena in the current market, and Man United have recently been credited with an interest in the Poland international.
According to L'Equipe, PSG have also joined the race for the striker, with the French giants preparing to rival Barcelona for his signature ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Xavi's side will have to make a major sale this summer in order to sign Lewandowski due to their ongoing financial problems, with Frenkie de Jong potentially moving to Man United.
Lewandowski still has a year left to run on his contract at Bayern, though, and the German champions are insisting that he will not be allowed to leave this summer.

Barcelona have reportedly offered Chelsea the chance to sign Sergino Dest as part of a move that would see Marcos Alonso arrive at Camp Nou in the summer market.
The Catalan giants are believed to be determined to sign a new left-back ahead of the 2022-23 campaign and have allegedly identified Alonso as a leading target.
Dest, on the other hand, has been strongly linked with a move away from Xavi's side in recent months, with the United States international said to be surplus to requirements at the club.
According to 90min, Chelsea are willing to let Alonso leave this summer, and Barcelona are hoping to complete a deal which would see Dest move in the opposite direction.
Alonso was a key player for Thomas Tuchel's side during the 2021-22 campaign, contributing five goals and six assists in 46 appearances, but he will soon enter the final 12 months of his deal at Stamford Bridge.
