AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United forward Memphis Depay when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The 22-year-old moved to Old Trafford from PSV in June 2015 for a reported fee of £25m, but has scored just twice in 31 league appearances and has featured only twice as a substitute under Jose Mourinho so far this term.
According to Italian publication CalcioMercatoWeb, the Serie A side are looking to offer Depay a loan deal in January with a view to making the move permanent for a fee of around £24m next summer.
Milan are on the verge of gaining new owners in the form of a big-spending Chinese consortium, and manager Vincenzo Montella is expected to have significant funds at his disposal in the New Year.
The club have also been linked with high-profile moves for Harry Kane and Cesc Fabregas in recent weeks.
