The agent of Manchester United's Rafael Da Silva has claimed that the defender has signed a new contract at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old recently earned a call-up to the Brazilian national team following his move from Fluminense in 2008.
The new terms are expected to keep the full-back with the former Premier League champions until 2016.
"Rafael is very happy to be able to stay at Manchester United, who are one of the biggest clubs in football and are always playing in Europe's biggest competitions," Cassiano Pereira told Globoesporte.
"Besides, they opened Rafael the doors to Europe, where his qualities are appreciated and where he has earned respect and prestige. Everyone is happy with this renewal."
Meanwhile Rafael's twin brother Fabio is thought to be close to securing a loan deal with Queens Park Rangers for next season.
