Arsenal have reportedly ended their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The Gunners were linked with a move for the Red Devils outcast in January amid their midfield shortage, but the 25-year-old instead made the move to Everton on loan.
Van de Beek is without a goal or assist in six Premier League games for the relegation-threatened Toffees, though, and he is due to return to Old Trafford in the summer.
With the Dutchman's former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag confirmed to be taking over at Man United this summer, football.london now claims that Arsenal's hopes of signing Van de Beek have been extinguished.
Ten Hag is expected to give Van de Beek the chance to reignite his career at Old Trafford, with the midfielder rising to prominence under the 52-year-old during his time at Ajax.
Van de Beek has already hit the 50-game mark for Man United, but he has only scored two goals and set up two more in that time.
