Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira.
According to The Sun, both clubs sent scouts to watch the 26-year-old during Porto's win over Tondela on Friday, having been keen on the player since last season.
Portuguese international Pereira, who was part of the squad that defeated France in the Euro 2016 final, has been capped 27 times by his country.
The midfielder, who can also operate at centre-back, is under contract with Porto until 2022, but could be convinced into a move to the Premier League.
Pereira came through the youth ranks at Estoril and Benfica before switching to his current employers.
