Manchester United target Arturo Vidal 'to stay at Juventus'

Arturo Vidal reportedly reveals that he is staying at Juventus, despite strong interest from Manchester United.

Arturo Vidal has reportedly dealt a blow to Manchester United's hopes of signing him by revealing that he will stay in Turin.

Conflicting reports in Italy have emerged over the last week, with some stating that a deal has been agreed between the two parties, while other outlets have suggested that Juventus are refusing to sell the midfielder.

Widespread reports have claimed that United are trying to get a deal over the line before Monday's deadline after sealing the signature of Angel di Maria for a British record fee of £59.7m from Real Madrid.

However, according to The Express, reports in Italy have quoted Vidal as saying: "At this point I do not go away, I stay at Juventus."

United are said to have held previous concerns about Vidal's knee condition after the midfielder underwent surgery in order to be fit for Chile's World Cup campaign in Brazil.
