Gareth Bale 'green light for Manchester United move'

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale gives the green light for a possible move to Manchester United next summer, according to reports.

Gareth Bale has reportedly indicated that he would be open to a return to the Premier League with Manchester United next summer.

Bale has not been guaranteed a regular starting place at Real Madrid this season and the Red Devils have been regularly linked with a move for the Welsh international in recent months.

The Express claims that the 25-year-old has been made aware of United interest and their willingness to break the club's transfer record to secure his services.

United's owners, the Glazer family, are believed to be keen on landing Bale as part of a Galacticos-style strategy, ahead of a possible attempt to sell the club for around £3bn in the future.

Bale and his family are thought to be open to a return to England, whether it be to Old Trafford or elsewhere.

The Welshman scored Real's second as the Spanish giants won the Club World Cup final against San Lorenzo in Marrakech.
