Manchester United to make £90m Gareth Bale bid?

Manchester United will offer £90m to land Real Madrid star Gareth Bale in the New Year, according to a report.

Fresh reports have emerged claiming that Manchester United are ready to offer Real Madrid £90m to secure the signature of Gareth Bale.

The Welshman, who joined the Spanish giants from Tottenham Hotspur for a world-record fee last year, emerged as a target for the Red Devils earlier this month.

United have been linked with Bale in the past, although having previously missed out to Madrid for his services it was thought that they had been priced out of a move.

However, the Daily Star reports that Louis van Gaal will offer Los Blancos a huge sum to land the forward when the transfer window reopens in January, as the Dutchman looks to continue strengthening his squad.

Bale has scored 12 goals in 25 appearances for club and country this season.
