Everton are reportedly considering making an attempt to sign Manchester United duo Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka during this summer's transfer window.
Lindelof, 29, featured on 28 occasions for the Red Devils during the 2023-24 campaign, while Wan-Bissaka, 26, made 30 appearances, with the latter benefitting from the team's injury problems at full-back.
There were also more Premier League appearances for Lindelof (22) than potentially expected at the start of the season, largely due to injury issues in that area of the field.
Both players will soon enter the final years of their contracts at Old Trafford, though, and the duo are thought to be available for the right price during the summer market.
According to talkSPORT, Everton are keen on the pair, which could potentially open up a complicated swap deal involving Jarrad Branthwaite, who remains Man United's leading centre-back target.

Would a swap deal be possible?
In theory, it sounds ideal for Man United, with the club getting rid of two seemingly unwanted players and lowering Everton's asking price for Branthwaite.
However, such a deal would be incredibly complicated, as it would involve both Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka agreeing personal terms with Everton, while the two clubs would also then have to agree on how much more would be paid for Branthwaite, as it is likely that the Toffees would want a fee plus the Man United duo.
Everton's alleged interest would be good news for the Red Devils, though, and Lindelof could be viewed as a direct replacement for Branthwaite at Goodison Park.
Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka will want clarity on their futures, and it is unlikely that either will be offered a new deal by Man United at this stage, so exits for the pair this summer are likely.

How have Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka performed at Man United?
Both arrived at Old Trafford with big reputations, with Lindelof winning plenty of silverware at Benfica, and he has made 259 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
It would be fair to say that the Sweden international has largely struggled to show his best form, though, with his suitability for the Premier League often called into question.
Unlike Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka did have Premier League experience ahead of a switch to Old Trafford, representing Crystal Palace on 42 occasions in the competition.
The right-back has made 190 appearances for the Red Devils, and while he has impressed defensively, particularly in one-on-one situations, his struggles going forward have been an issue.
There is thought to be interest from Turkey in the Man United duo this summer, while Palace have also been linked with a move for Wan-Bissaka, with the defender potentially being given the option to secure a return to Selhurst Park.
