Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has reportedly agreed a new two-year contract extension with the Premier League champions.
The 32-year-old's current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of next season.
However, he is now close to putting pen to paper on fresh terms that will run until summer 2016, according to talkSPORT.
Carrick recently withdrew from the England squad for the team's upcoming friendlies against Chile and Germany through injury.
