Chelsea have reportedly offered Antonio Rudiger a contract worth close to £200,000 a week, as the Blues desperately attempt to keep hold of the central defender.
The Germany international has been a key player for Thomas Tuchel's side during the 2021-22 campaign, making 32 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and four assists in the process.
The 28-year-old's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire this summer, though, and there remains widespread speculation surrounding his future.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are all believed to be interested in signing the central defender on a free transfer ahead of next season.
However, according to Goal, there is positivity from Chelsea that an agreement can be reached in the coming weeks, with the club raising their contract offer.
The report claims that Tuchel's side have offered closer to Rudiger's £200,000-a-week demands in the hope of convincing him to extend his stay in the English capital.
The German has made 181 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Roma in 2017, scoring 10 goals and registering seven assists in the process.
