Report: Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur quoted £75m for Anthony Martial

Manchester United are prepared to sell Anthony Martial this summer but will demand a £75m transfer fee from suitors Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly told Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur that Anthony Martial will not leave Old Trafford for less than £75m.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Red Devils from Monaco in 2015, has seen his playing time limited under Jose Mourinho, particularly following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.

Philippe Lamboley, Martial's agent, has claimed that his client wants to leave United, citing a lack of progress in talks to renew his current contract, which expires next summer.

According to The Mirror, United have set their asking price for Martial, who cost the club an initial £36m potentially rising to £58m.

The report states that the £75m fee would be beyond Tottenham's spending power, while Chelsea would have to break their transfer record should they agree to United's terms.

Martial has made 136 appearances for United over the past three seasons, scoring 36 goals.
