Manchester United could reportedly loan Daniel James out for the 2020-21 campaign.
The 22-year-old joined the Red Devils from Swansea City last summer and has been a regular during the current season, contributing four goals and seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Wales international could struggle for football next season if United land leading target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in the coming months.
According to The Sun, James's form this term could see him rewarded with a new and improved contract, but the 20-time English champions are considering loaning out the attacker next season to continue his development.
The Welshman scored three times in his first four Premier League appearances as he made a flying start to the campaign but has not found the back of the net since.
James has been involved in all but two of United's league games this season, though, and has been used as a striker on a number of occasions due to his counter-attacking qualities.
