Monaco vice-president: Radamel Falcao will move to a "great club"

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev claims that striker Radamel Falcao has interest from some of the world's "great clubs".

Radamel Falcao will move to a "great club" this summer if Manchester United decide against making his loan move permanent, according to his parent club Monaco.

The Colombian striker joined Louis van Gaal's side on transfer deadline day last year, but he has only found the net on four occasions so far.

His unconvincing form has put a permanent move to Old Trafford in doubt, but Monaco remain convinced that he will join one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Vice-president Vadim Vasilyev told BBC Sport: "I'm not worried for Falcao, he is a world class striker."

He added: "If Manchester United decide not take up the option at the end of the season, we have interest from other great clubs. So I am really not worried for him at all."

Falcao cost Monaco £52m in 2013.
