Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has been named the world's most valuable midfielder in the latest CIES Football Observatory transfer value list.
The 25-year-old has been a huge hit since joining United from Sporting Lisbon in a £67m deal in January, scoring and assisting a combined seven goals in his first nine appearances.
According to research by CIES, Fernandes's valuation has climbed to £93.5m in the five months since that transfer went through, making him the MVP in terms of midfielders.
Chelsea youngster Mason Mount is second in the list, valued at £91.4m after an impressive breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge, while £91m-rated Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong is third.
Meanwhile, Fernandes's United teammate Paul Pogba fails to make the top 20 after seeing his valuation drop to £44.9m on the back of an injury-plagued campaign.
