Manchester United are reportedly scouting Olympiacos youngster Charalampos Kostoulas, who is also attracting interest from Bayern Munich, Juventus and Fiorentina.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Olympiacos youngster Charalampos Kostoulas in the near future.

The 17-year-old has impressed on the domestic and continental scene for the Greek giants during the opening months of the 2024-25 season.

At the same time, Man United are enduring a transitional period under the stewardship of Ruben Amorim, who took the reins from Erik ten Hag last month at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Portuguese boss enjoyed the biggest success of his tenure to date on Sunday afternoon, when the Red Devils managed a comeback victory over Manchester City.

Man United were a goal down heading into the final moments of normal time, before strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo snatched all three points.

Man United scouting Greek talent Kostoulas?

According to The Sun, Manchester United are continuing their search for the best young talent in Europe ahead of the January transfer window.

The report claims that the Red Devils are interested in the acquisition of Kostoulas, who is emerging as one of the most promising players in Greek football.

It is understood that Man United sent scouts to watch Kostoulas during Olympiacos's goalless draw with Dutch outfit FC Twente in the Europa League on December 12.

Despite failing to find the net, the youngster played a major part in the contest, earning a penalty that teammate Ayoub El Kaabi went on to miss.

As well as Man United, it is believed that Bayern Munich, Juventus and Fiorentina are also monitoring the development of Kostoulas' game in Greece.

Where would Kostoulas fit?

With the ability to play in all of the positions in attack behind a central striker, Kostoulas would be a versatile option for Amorim at Man United.

Now operating in a 3-4-3 formation, it is likely that the Red Devils would deploy the 17-year-old as one of the two attacking midfielders behind Rasmus Hojlund.

It is hard to argue that Kostoulas is a better option than Diallo or Fernandes in that role at this stage, although the Olympiacos man has the potential to blossom into a first-team star of the future at Old Trafford.
