Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini says there is no problem with Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder.

Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini has said that there is no immediate danger of Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder leaving the club.

The former Real Madrid midfielder, who has been touted as a replacement for Paul Scholes, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer after spending two seasons with the Nerazzurri.

However, his manager has insisted that the 27-year-old will feature against rivals AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana on Saturday in Beijing.

"There is no Sneijder problem," Gasperini told reporters. "He is playing for us, training with us and he will play on Saturday.

"I do not have a crystal ball, but we are here to try and win this so that Inter can take home the trophy they missed out on two years ago. And playing against AC Milan makes the event even more prestigious."

The Italian club signed the Netherlands star from Real Madrid in 2009 for a reported fee of €15m (£13m).
