Javier Hernandez "happy" at Manchester United

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez says that he is "happy" at the club even though he would like to start more matches.

Javier Hernandez has expressed his happiness at Manchester United despite a lack of starting opportunities this season.

The Mexican international has struggled to force his way into Sir Alex Ferguson's plans so far this campaign, with the Scottish boss having often preferred Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck in the attacking roles.

However, despite admitting that he would like to start more matches, the 24-year-old has insisted that he will continue to give his all for the club.

"All the players in the world want to start every single game," he said. "I am happy to be at this club. Of course I would love to start more often but I will keep the same attitude.

"When the gaffer wants me on the bench or the starting lineup I will do my best. My attitude is going to be very good because I want to respect the club, my teammates and the coach."

Hernandez joined the Red Devils in 2010 from Chivas Guadalajara.
